Brooklyn 5G Summit: 5G and Beyond

CTO of NTT DoCoMo, Mr. Seizo Onoe, delivers his keynote address on the future of 5G technology and beyond.

Seizo Onoe was named an Executive Vice President, Chief Technical Officer and Managing Director of the R&D Center of NTT DOCOMO, INC. in June 2012.

Mr. Onoe became a Senior Vice President in July 2008 while retaining his position as Managing Director of the R&D Strategy Department since June 2008.

He was Managing Director of the Radio Access Network Development Department from July 2006 to June 2008 and Managing Director of Radio System Development Department from December 2005 to July 2006. Mr. Onoe also held the posts of Managing Director of IP Radio Network Development Department from March 2004 to july 2006 and Managing Director of Radio Network Development Department from June 2002 to March 2004.

Mr. Onoe joined NTT Public Corporation in April 1982 after graduating from Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Engineering with a master’s degree in electronic science and engineering. He was born on May 12, 1957.
