The sequel to 1955's Engineering - A Career for Tomorrow this 1967 motion picture release from HKN benefitted from additional funding and research from the IEEE.

Following the success of the 1955 film project, which sought to introduce high school students to the career potential of an engineering degree, an new, more modern version was imagined.  Watch for a key moment in which a young woman (the only one) talks about her engineering career plans.

Engineering - The Challenge of the Future was co-sponsored with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. One important aspect of both films was the fact that each script covered the whole field of engineering, not just electrical engineering. Thus, Eta Kappa Nu amd IEEE provided a service to the engineering profession.

Once again, this film has no credits or identifiers of any kind for the people wo appeared on camera.  If you recognize anyone, even yourself, let us know by clicking on the feedback button on the IEEE.tv homme page.
