Dr. Bajcsy recieved her PhD in EE from Slovak technical University in Bratislava in 1967 and then PhD in CS from Stanford University in 1972. She founded the GRASP lab (General Robotic and Active Perception) laboratory in 1979 at University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, PA. She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and National Academy of Medicine.
