2020 was a year of change for everyone. It impacted how and where we work, who we work with, how we collaborate with others & even the activities we took for granted during our daily routines. When change is introduced, not everyone responds positively. Some embrace the change, others are hesitant or skeptical, and some even greet change with hostility.

Leading change can seem like a daunting task. There are so many details to consider. What often happens is that we focus on the technical aspects of the change itself (processes, tools, organization, etc.). However, the people and cultural side of change is just as important. Not understanding the people-side of change can result in missed deadlines, costs running over budget, valuable employees becoming disengaged and ultimately unsustainable change and project failures.

In this session, I will describe the importance of applying effective change management, combining the technical aspects of the change along with focusing on the people impacts. I will share a structured approach which can be utilized on any size business change project, to develop a comprehensive plan for successful change adoption.
