In 2008, the IEEE Plenary Session was held at the IEEE Operations Center. IEEE Plenary Sessions allow for organizational units to view and give presentations relevant to IEEE. This program contains the 2008 November Plenary Session which covered presentations that included: Industry Relations, Women in Engineering, and IEEE's Humanitarian Efforts. Presenters include: Peter Sobel, Director of Corporate & Foundation Partnerships; Karen Panette, WIE Committee Chair, IEEE Fellow; and Lew Terman, 2008 President and CEO of IEEE.

The IEEE Plenary Session is a general session held at the IEEE Meeting Series and gives the opportunity for all organizational units to give and view presentations relevant to IEEE. This program covers the 2008 Plenary Session, which includes presentations on the topics of Industry Relations, Women in Engineering, and IEEE's Humanitarian Efforts.
