The 2025 IEEE Theodore W. Hissey Outstanding Young Professionals Award was presented to Aishwarya Bandla for leadership in patient-centric health technology innovation, and inspiring IEEE Young Professionals to drive meaningful change.

The IEEE Frances E. Allen Medal was presented to Regina Barzilay for innovative machine learning algorithms that have led to advances in human language technology and demonstrated impact on the field of medicine.

The 2025 IEEE Founders Medal was presented to Mung Chiang for leadership spanning academia, industry, and government propelling advances in communication networks, semiconductor manufacturing, and international cooperation in advanced technologies.

The 2025 IEEE Nick Holonyak Jr. Medal for Semiconductor Optoelectronic Technologies was presented to Frederick A. Kish, Jr., for pioneering contributions to the development and commercialization of optoelectronic devices, photonic integrated circuits, and LEDs for solid-state lighting.

The 2025 IEEE Richard W. Hamming Medal was presented to Frans M. J. Willems for contributions to multiuser information theory, source coding, and information-theoretic security.

The 2025 IEEE Simon Ramo Medal was presented to Bill Ochs, Mike Menzel, and Scott Willoughby for the development of the James Webb Space Telescope, first deployed to see the earliest galaxies in the universe.

The 2025 IEEE Medal for Innovations in Healthcare Technology was presented to James J. Collins contributions to synthetic gene circuits and programmable cells, launching the field of synthetic biology, impacting healthcare applications.

The 2025 IEEE Mildred Dresselhaus Medal was presented to Andrea Goldsmith for contributions to and leadership in wireless communications theory and practice.

The 2025 IEEE Edison Medal was presented to Daniela Rus for sustained leadership and pioneering contributions in modern robotics.

The 2025 IEEE Dennis J. Picard Medal for Radar Technologies and Applications was presented to Kamal Sarabandi for sustained contributions to advancing radar science and technology for remote sensing and automotive and through-the-wall applications.

The 2025 IEEE Jack S. Kilby Signal Processing Medal was presented to Richard G. Baraniuk for contributions to multiscale and sparse signal processing.

The 2025 IEEE/RSE James Clerk Maxwell Medal was presented to Robert W. Heath, Jr., for contributions to multiple-antenna technologies in wireless networks.

The 2025 IEEE Jun-Ichi Nishizawa Medal was presented to Robert W. Dutton for contributions to and leadership in developing Technology Computer-Aided Design (TCAD) tools for the semiconductor industry.

The 2025 IEEE Medal for Environmental & Safety Technologies was presented to Issa Batarseh for pioneering contributions to the advancement of renewable energy systems through significant improvement in the overall energy efficiency of microinverters.
