Internet Inclusion: Global Connect Stakeholders Advancing Solutions - October 5-6, 2016

On 5-6 October, IEEE held Internet Inclusion: Global Connect Stakeholders Advancing Solutions in Washington, D.C., USA. Like its predecessor event in April, this multi-stakeholder workshop discussed network technical, regulation and build-out acceleration options for connecting the next billion, with a focus on exploration of associated challenges and real-world solutions.

The program offers a blend of interactive and dynamic workshops and panels, lightning talks on the status of broadband plans and internet/digital inclusion plans, and regional roundtables. In an entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit, Internet Inclusion: Global Connect Stakeholders Advancing Solutions focuses on innovative technical options and solutions for addressing the infrastructure challenges of providing internet access to under-developed and under-served communities and regions, with a focus on accelerating roll out.
