The European Union initiated WEEE and RoHs to force manufacturers to take responsibility of e-waste recycling and disposal. This program examines the global influence as well as the impact of these directives and their limitation in preventing illegal dumping of e-waste in developing countries.
This program will introduce the general public to WEEE and RoHs, including brief background information about these directives, their goals and impact.
