The intergovernmental Group on Earth Observations (GEO) is conducting an effort to better understand Earth. Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS) is a project that is going to allow us to study and manage the Earth's resources, disaster prediction and recovery. The information that is gathered through GEOSS will be shared across boundaries, and will hopefully build a level of trust between countries. This video is about the challenges of developing this global information service, and how GEO plans on overcoming some already existing obstacles.
