Expand you knowledge of power electronics for renewable energies and energy efficiency, modeling and control of power converters, soft switching power conversion for data centers, grid inverters and high speed drives. A greater understanding of the engineering challenges in these areas of power electronics is invaluable. Mark Dehong Xu (F'13) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Zhejiang University in China, Since 1989. He became a faculty member in Zhejiang University. Now Mark is a professor and director of power electronics research institute of Zhejiang University. The focus of his current research is Power Electronics for renewable energies and energy efficiency, Modeling and control of power converters, soft switching power conversion for data centers, grid inverters and high speed drives etc. He has proposed several novel converter topologies and modulation/control concepts, e.g., Phase-shift plus PWM control for bidirectional DC/DC converters, Zero-Voltage-Switching SVM for three-phase Converters, weighted current damping control of the Grid inverter with LCL-filter. Dr. Xu is a Fellow of the IEEE and received three Best Paper Awards of IEEE Conferences. He was at-large Adcom member of IEEE Power Electronics Society from 2006-2008. He serves as an associate editor of both IEEE transaction on power electronics and IEEE transaction on Sustainable Energy. He was General Chair of IEEE ISIE2012 at Hangzhou, IEEE PEDG2013 at Arkansas, and IEEE PEAC2014 at Shanghai.
