Ali Khademhosseini is an Iranian-Canadian academic and an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology and Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering.   He takes a few minutes during the recent EMBS MNMC in Maui, HI to talk about some of the goals and accomplishments of the conference. The aim of 2012 MNMC is to increase interactions between EMB members and numerous research communities such as Biomaterials, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Life Science Communities who engage is similar research and research communities that are multi disciplinary (IEEE MEMS, Transducers, Hilton Head, Nanotechnology, Sensors, ACS, APS, AVS, AiChe, etc).
