Xidas engineers draw from a toolbox of hundreds of materials and processes for producing ultra-small, precision sensors, actuators, 3D micro-structures, and other products that were not possible before. Using this approach, Xidas is able to produce microscopic devices and systems, starting with high performance microwave relays and moving into miniature mm-wave components and routing.
Xidas uses a new interdisciplinary miniaturization paradigm for micro-engineering called Amalga, moving microfabrication beyond the limits of semiconductor-style processing to true heterogeneous integration at the microscale.
