Engineers have the power to heavily impact society on a social level, so should they just concentrate on creating products and solving problems, or should they ask themselves about ethics? This video interviews professionals at the International Symposium on Technology and Society and explores the moral and ethical questions that are relate to their professions. In the past, engineers were hired just to "design" rather then look into the ethical issues that can come along with products and systems. Today, being in a more global environment than in the past, it is important to maintain ethical when engineers are creating products. This program encourages engineers to look into their own ethics in their profession and think about where does the technical side of engineering end and the ethical side begin?
