The "Best Research Activity Pitch Presentation" competition is devoted to PhD Students and Young Professionals (post-Doc and young researchers within 15 years from the first degree – Bachelor), both IEEE and non-IEEE Members. The competitors submitted a 5 minutes video (“My research in 5 minute”) in which their research activity is presented using slides, pictures, photos, graphics, lab demo, etc., to describe in the most convincing and attractive way their research results and field of application. The following videos have been presented and their authors answered to some questions: - "Wear your health" by Arianna Carnevale - "Renginald: A Predictive Virtual Coach for Responsible Energy Consumption in European Household" by Andrea Damiani - "CHiMEra - An overview of different solutions for assisted medicine" by Eleonora D'Arnese - "Graph-based Applications for Bioinformatics and Health Informatics" by Guido Walter Di Donato - "Systems for automatic monitoring of brain disorders in children and newborns" by Lorenzo Frassinetti - "Pulsed Electro-Acoustic Space Charge Apparatus" by Giuseppe Rizzo The participants at the IEEE MELECON Student & Young Professional Event voted their favorite video using a special application on their smart phones.

5 minutes videos in which PhD students present their research activity using slides, pictures, photos, graphics, lab demo, etc., to describe in the most convincing and attractive way their research results and field of application.
