Dr. Adil Usman is currently working as an R&D Tech Lead at Varroc Engineering Limited, India. Dr. Usman was a postdoctoral researcher at the National Laboratory of the US Department of Energy (DOE) and at University of California Santa Cruz, United States between 2021-2023. He holds a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), India. His research areas of interest include the design & development of next generation electric machines (NGEMs), condition monitoring of electric motors and State of Health (SOH) estimation for all electric transportation systems. Adil holds more than 50 reputed research publications, more than 40 invited talks and several technical awards and recognitions to his name. Dr. Usman is a Senior Member of IEEE and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the IEEE Industry Applications (IA) Society, United States
