Marcelo Yannuzzi received a degree in electrical engineering from the University of the Republic, Uruguay, and MSc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the Department of Computer Architecture, UPC, Spain. He is currently Principal Engineer - Strategic Innovation in the Chief Strategy Office with the Corporate Technology Group at Cisco Systems International, Switzerland. Before that, he was head of NetlTLab, as well as the Advanced Network Architectures (ANA) research group at UPC. He has led several projects in close interaction with European and U.S. companies and research centers. His interests lie in the areas of fog computing, IoE, security, NFV, orchestration and management, and mobility.
