The 2021 IEEE 7th World Forum on Internet of Things (WF-IoT 2021) brought a broad program of papers and presentations on the latest technology developments and innovations in the many fields and disciplines that drive the utility and vitality of IoT solutions and applications.

As part of the Entrepreneurial Program, which took place 26 - 30 July 2021, IEEE Entrepreneurship organized a panel discussion concentrating on the factors that cause startups / products to fail in the IoT space with a specific focus on technical challenges, best practices, and possibilities for improvement.

The speakers provided case studies into the various phases of innovation and product development and discussed the circumstances that contribute to the highs and lows of entrepreneurship in the IoT industry.
