Connecting the Next Billion - Internet Inclusion: Advancing Solutions
According to the U.S. Agency for International Development, about 4 billion people worldwide are without access to the internet. To help fill this void, the IEEE Internet Initiative created the program, Internet Inclusion: Advancing Solutions, to bring together stakeholders from industry, academia and governments in an effort to create a strategic and policy decisions that can bring internet access to the estimated 60 percent of the global population that remains unconnected.
