Kerop Jenoyan
Dr. Kerop Janoyan is a leader in engineering education, research innovation, and institutional advancement. He serves as Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies in the College of Engineering at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), where he strengthens interdisciplinary research, graduate education, and strategic partnerships.
He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Previously, he served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of La Verne and held senior leadership roles at Clarkson University, including Dean of the Graduate School and Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
An internationally recognized scholar, his research focuses on intelligent infrastructure, sustainability, and clean energy systems. He has authored more than 100 technical publications, secured substantial external funding, and mentored students who have gone on to distinguished careers. His honors include election as a By-Fellow of Churchill College at the University of Cambridge (where he spent his sabbatical) and as a Fellow of the AGB Institute for Leadership & Governance in Higher Education.
