The Brooklyn 6G Summit - an annual wireless communications summit - once again brought together leading corporate executives, technology visionaries, academics, and engineers working in 5G-evolution and 6G-related fields.
In addition to our 2021 B6GS having transitioned to a virtual format, this landmark event sharpened its focus on the rollout and implementation of the 5G evolution and delved into the emergence of 6G technologies.
The B6GS was hosted by Nokia and the NYU WIRELESS research center at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and featured an amazing line-up of visionaries and global leaders.
Ted Rappaport, Founder of NYU Wireless and the host of the B6GS, presents the 2021 Pioneer Award to Dr. Paulraj, Professor Emeritus Department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University and a pioneer of MIMO, which is the core technology in all broadband wireless systems.
