"The biggest annual event organized by IEEE Sri Lanka Section, IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student/Young Professional/Women In Engineering Congress 2016 will be held on 25th to 27th November at the premises of the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka for the fifth consecutive year. This will be a whole new experience for the enthusiastic IEEE members and the volunteers. The congress consists of sessions on technology, inspiring life stories, several competitions and the entertaining eve "IEEE Handewa".

This year IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student/YP/WIE Congress 2016 presents you with the first ever Awards Night in Congress history to appreciate Student Branches, WIE Affinity Groups and Young Professionals of IEEE Sri Lanka Section. IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student/YP/WIE Congress 2016 will connect the nodes from all over the country by various outbound and group activities. It will enhance the interactions among the participants."
