In 2009 the EMBC hosted a roundtable with some of the leading experts from all around the world, presenting on the rapidly developing fields of biomedical engineering. This video shows a discussion from the roundtable that covers advances in Neuro-rehabilitation. Technologies that are discussed include virtual reality to rehabilitate patients suffering from neurological disorders and the physical effects resulting from stroke, and the use of sensor technology in a web-based application to monitor patients with Parkinson's disease.
