Mark Torres is the IEEE-USA MOVE Volunteer and Public Engagement Chair.

An accomplished technology leader with extensive technical and business experience, he was a Big Data Software Engineer with AT&T before his retirement in 2020. He has been an active participant in IEEE activities for over 15 years, as Alabama Section Chair and Region 3 Support Committee Member and Chair, and has been active with IEEE-USA for 6 years. He has a BS (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) from Mississippi State University, and has been an IEEE member for 53 years.
