Abstract—To solve the problem of supply and demand imbalance caused by the fluctuation of renewable energy in the power system, This paper is based on the frequency modulation model of temperature-controlled load (TCL) participating in power system, and this paper designs a H∞ robust frequency state feedback controller based on linear matrix inequality (LMI) for load frequency control (LFC) of multi area interconnection. The simulation results show that the proposed control method can effectively improve the robustness of the frequency and stability of the system under disturbance and uncertainty conditions, and improve the control effect.
