Empowering local food markets via smartphones - GHTC 2012 Session - Justin Henriques
Research and Education Networks exist in many regions of the world. These networks typically serve the broader University community, however, they often can be leveraged to support a broader mission, including humanitarian efforts. This panel will include experts from the United States, Africa, Europe, and South America to explore the use of research and education networks to serve humanitarian goals. It will provide an introduction to research and education networking from around the world and will then provide some specific examples of leveraging these networks for broader purposes.
Justin Henriques gives a talk at the 2012 GHTC entitled "Empowering smallholders and local food markets with smartphones and social networks"
