Session Title : IEEE WIE's visibility through International Leadership Summits (ILS)

Session Description : This session presents the role and scope of IEEE WIE International Leadership Summits (ILS) in increasing the visibility of the IEEE WIE Programs at regional levels. It aims at broadening their networking with people from academia-industry-entrepreneurship, improving technical skills, and finding role model mentors, endorsers, supporters and collaborators. IEEE WIE ILS is an impactful program that helps members to avail the existing benefits for capacity building and become ready for WIE leadership, leaders of technical societies, Editors-in-Chief of Journals/transactions, General Chairs of conferences and Committee Chairs. IEEE WIE strongly encourages member’s participation in IEEE WIE international leadership summits closest to them in 9 diversified Geo locations in 2023.

IEEE Sections Congress, the triennial flagship event hosted by MGA, brought together volunteer leaders from every member country to share ideas and solutions. IEEE Sections Congress 2023 was an in-person event.

Volunteer leaders worldwide met in the Shaw Centre, Ottawa, Canada, to exchange ideas and learn about the products and programs IEEE offers to members in their local areas.

There were dynamic and engaging networking sessions to exchange ideas and best practices. IEEE organizational units offered exhibit booths to provide information on IEEE resources and tools to strengthen and support vital units.

IEEE volunteers and members attended Sections Congress 2023 from 11-13 August 2023.
